Our philosophy
At Moranbah Early Learning Centre our philosophy is simple; to provide the highest quality of education and care to the children and families of the Moranbah community. We take great pride in our role as educators, and above all value each child for their own individuality. We know it takes a village to raise a child, that is why we take the time to ensure our centre feels like an extension of the child’s family home.
In everything we do, we embed a spirit of support, respect, and security to help children and ourselves be the best we can be.
- We are committed to each child who passes through our doors.
- We are committed to each other as colleagues.
- We are committed to the families who we support, and
- We are committed to the wider Moranbah community.
Early childhood program
We know how important it is to have a well-rounded early childhood program. We also know that every child is different, which is why we will work with you to ensure your child is supported in a way that meets their individual needs.
Our team are highly-skilled, qualified and passionate educators which is something we greatly value. We invest in our people to ensure they are facilitating quality early learning programs that support children now, and into our technology-driven future.
Early childhood is arguably, one of the most important times in a child’s life, and we hope you allow us to nurture and support your child to make the most of this very precious moment in time.
It takes a village
We know it takes a village to raise a child. At Moranbah Early Learning Centre, we value our strong connections to families and the community. We participate in local events and activities and take pride in building beautiful relationships with those around us.
We are thankful for the ongoing support of our families and the wider Moranbah community.
We look forward to welcoming your family to our ‘village’.
Connections to Country
At Moranbah Early Learning Centre, we acknowledge the Barada Barna People as the Traditional Owners of the land where we gather and recognise that this land has always been under their custodianship.
We pay our respect to Elders past and present, and to emerging community leaders.
We also extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the Moranbah community.
